Welcome to the Northerner Hockey Camp

A co-ed day camp for youth hockey players with locations across the Midwest. We believe in having fun and providing young athletes with the tools to become great hockey players and knowledgeable fans of the game. It's not just an amazing week of hockey, it's a lifetime experience.

This camp is meticulously organized and led by the dynamic duo of Gaven Bickford & Marko Reifenberger. Our camp is designed to provide aspiring hockey players with a comprehensive and enjoyable training program that emphasizes skill development, team play, and fun.

CAMP HOURS

8:00 AM – 3:45 PM Monday - Thursday (full-day hockey-focused activities and instruction)

Groups

Players are separated in groups by birth year, you will select your group on the registration page. 

Group 1: 2019 & 2018

Group 2: 2017 & 2016

Group 3: 2015, 2014, & 2013

What to expect

Skill Development
Our experienced coaching staff emphasizes the core fundamentals of hockey: skating, puck handling, shooting, passing, and game strategy.

On-Ice Training

Session 1: Individual skill development (stickhandling, shooting, skating, etc.)

Session 2: Team play (scrimmages and small-area games) to foster competition and teamwork.

Off-Ice Training/Dryland
Focused on improving strength, agility, and overall athleticism — essential for a well-rounded hockey player. Dryland will be a combination of off-ice stickhandling & shooting as well as agility & plyometrics.  

Team Building
Campers participate in engaging activities that build camaraderie, communication, and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Hockey Classroom
A fun and interactive session featuring video breakdowns, strategy discussions, and trivia to boost hockey IQ.

Nutrition
Lunch is provided daily — with a strong emphasis on #SupportingLocal.

Camp Apparel
Each camper will receive a Northerner Hockey Camp t-shirt and jersey to wear with pride. Additional apparel will be available for purchase in the lobby.
