Welcome to the Northerner Hockey Camp - a day camp for youth hockey players located in Madison, WI! We believe in having fun and providing young athletes with the tools to become great hockey players and knowledgeable fans of the game. It's not just an amazing week of hockey, it's a lifetime experience. Rink Address: 100 N Perry Pkwy, Oregon, WI 53575 This camp is meticulously organized and led by the dynamic duo of Emily and Gaven Bickford. Our camp is designed to provide aspiring hockey players, aged 6-15, with a comprehensive and enjoyable training program that emphasizes skill development, team play, and fun. Mite Age: 2015 and younger Duration: The camp runs from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, offering a full day of hockey-focused activities and instruction. Skill Development: Our experienced coaching team focuses on enhancing fundamental skills crucial for successful hockey performance. This includes skating techniques, puck handling, shooting, passing, and strategic game plays. On-Ice Training: Campers will spend a significant portion of their day on the ice, receiving expert guidance to refine their hockey skills. Our first on-ice sessions will encompass drills to improve individual skillset improvement - stick handling, shooting, skating, etc. The second ice session revolved more around team play - scrimmages, and small-sided games, fostering a competitive and encouraging atmosphere. Off-Ice Training: Our off-ice training sessions are aimed at improving strength, agility, and overall fitness, essential for a well-rounded hockey player. Team Building: Throughout the camp, participants will engage in team-building exercises and activities, promoting camaraderie, communication, and teamwork skills. The focus is on creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all campers. Hockey Classroom: A space where strategies, plays, and hockey IQ take center stage. This is a fun and engaging hour where our youth athletes are educated through video and trivia. Nutrition: Our campers receive daily lunch. We're firm believers in #SupportingLocal. Camp Apparel: Every participant will receive a camp t-shirt and jersey, promoting a sense of unity and pride among the campers. There will be additional apparel for sale in the lobby! All spots are filled on a first come first serve basis. Refund Policy: 90 days before camp - Full refund (minus processing fees) 30 days before camp - 1/2 refund (minus processing fees) Less than 30 days before camp - no refund
